Hi Bernice--Have no knowledge of your family per se, but did find that a William Harrison was witness in Prince William Co.VA testifying to for his uncle, Benjamin Bullitt, in a suit against RICHARD DIXON in 1769. This was extended to Fauquier Co.Court. William was the son of Col. Thomas Harrison and Anne Grayson.(This was about inheritance and land issues I think.) The William or Nathanial William Whitledge who married the sister of my Frances Overall married to Capt. John Whitledge was the Whitledge/Harrison/Overall/Bullitt line of President Obama. Both of these Whitledges were killed by Indians in KY and ended up in Pike Co. and surrounding areas of MO. Also, there was a William Overall in earliest TN who was involved in a very unsavory attack on a pregnant Indian woman, though this is deeply buried in history. Hope this leads you somewhere! And sorry for the delay. . .
