Is anyone researching Elijah Whitney (b. Sep 10, 1750 in Lebanon, CT) married Chloe Beckley, Sep 24, 1772, in Canaan? Town records list 3 children: Elijah, Elisha, and Joseph. Other records (Whitney Research Group) suggest two more children: Electa and William. William moved to Norwich, VT and married Prudence Brown there. I am interested in any information on Electa and any other children of Elijah and Chloe. Also, I have not been able to locate the estate settlement for Elijah after he died on May 26, 1821 in Canaan, has anyone found this?
