John Whitney b. 1803 inNY m. Louissa Sutherland

I am trying to locate the ancestors of John Whitney, who was born in about 1803 in New York state. He married Louissa Sutherland of Vermont(b. 1810 d. 1872). They moved to Iowa and had 3 or 4 children. John died in Iowa in 1860.
