Luthroran is one of my ancestors, and I know a lot about her from my uncle, who is obsessed with our family tree. Luthroran was born in Guilford Connecticut in 1762. Her father Josiah was born in Newington, and they moved from Guilford to Haverhill and then Bath, New Hampshire when Luth was about 14 years old, and about the same time the war started. Her father was in the Bath militia during the war, I haven't got his regiment yet. Luth married Zebulon Hunt, from the same regiment as her father was in, sometime in the early 1780's. Zebulon was one of my many-greats-uncles. Luth and Zebulon lived on a 96 acre farm in Bath. Zebulon was a cooper, more commonly known as a barrel-maker. They had 13 children who all survived to adulthood. Two of them died earlier on in their lives, probably their mid-twenties. Moses, one of the sons, died in the Connecticut River when he was riding a log raft that was being floated downstream. Apparently he got caught between the logs and dragged under water (definitly not a plesant way to die). This Moses was actually Moses Jr., Moses Sr. was Zebulon's brother. Moses Sr. had Hunt Mountain named after him, Hunt Mountain is in New Hampshire. The other one who died was also a son, and he died of disease. Luthroran is buried in the Bath cemetery. They were probably middle class, possibly (but very unlikely) upper-middle class.
