"Charles Alexander Clark 8 (Rufus 7, William 6, William 5, Joseph 4, Joseph 3, Joseph 2, Edward 1) married Ella OLIVER POWERS b. January 28, 1849. They lived in Lyndon, Wisconsin. Their children were
1) John R. Clark, a dentist, b. 2/19/1872 in Lyndon, WI, d. 12/25/50 at Reedsburg, WI. He married 8/13/11, Pearl Edna CAMERON b. 11/19/1884, daughter of Chester CAMERON, and died 10/2/41, at LaValle, WI. They had 3 children:
a) Fern E. CLARK b. 6/5/12 (see Willis POWELL family)
b) Helen E. CLARK b. 9/20/14, m. 6/19/32.
c) Warren Cameron CLARK, dentist, b.6/16/20, m. 6/20/46 Jeanette BODENDEIN
They had 3 childre:
i Paula CLARK b. 6/14/48
ii Jeffrey CLARK b. 6/6/53
iii Timothy CLARK b. 10/9/64.
2) Jennie CLARK b. 11/11/1874, died unmarried, occ. operated a millinery store in Ellsworth, WI.
3) Clarence CLARK b. 2/20/1876; prob. died young.
4) Anna CLARK b. 9/22/1878; died unmarried.
5) Lydia CLARK b. 2/28/1882, unmarried.
Lived in a nursing home at Spring Valley, WI in 1970."
