Although I can’t claim kinship at this point, my husband’s family (Severt/Sievert) is very much associated with the Grube’s (Clark & Marathon Counties) and I have quite a lot of information on them. I have found information on Annie Sievert of Kiel, Wisconsin who married a Henry Zachow on 11 January 1890; Henry lived in the town of Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin. August Sievert and his family consisting of Albert Sievert and his wife, Mathilde Caroline Dorothy Popp Sievert, immigrated from Germany to Kiel, Wisconsin, where they lived for two years before settling in Auburndale, Wood County, Wisconsin. Clark and Wood County border each other and I just have a strong feeling that these families are connected. Is any of this familiar to you? Joyce Severt
