Tomac, Katarina (1876 1959)
GREENWOOD Mrs. Katarina Tomac, 82, Greenwood, Clark County, died Monday night in St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield, a few hours after her admission for treatment of a cerebral hemorrhage suffered Monday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward Hartung will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
The body will repose at the Hill Funeral Home beginning tomorrow afternoon. A general rosary will be said there Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.

The former Katarina Bukovich was born May 6, 1876, in Yugoslavia. She married Peter Tomac there in 1901. He made two trip to America before coming to Greenwood in 1910. Mrs. Tomac and daughter Julia came to America in 1920 to join her husband, and they settled on a farm north of Greenwood. She made her home there until 1952, when she went to live with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gregorich, on a farm south of Greenwood.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Julia) Gregorich six grandchildren four great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Gera Nerle, Yugoslavia.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 25, 1949, and by one son and one daughter.
