As far as I know my Kings came from New Jersey. My ggrandfather eventually ended up in Montana. They lived in Hixton WI until the 1880's. My grandfather eventually made his way back to LaCrosse WI after he met my grandmother. It would be interesting to know if we have a connection thru the King family.
