Jane Hewitt (my 3rd Grgrandmother) moved to Wisconsin about 1854. She was born in 1832 in Philadelphia, NY; m. abt 1852 to an Munroe (unkown first name at this point). Their children were as follows:
Arabell W. Munroe b. 1853 in Jefferson Co, NY
George Henry Munroe b. 1855 in Wisconsin
Cornelius E. Munroe b. 1856 in Wisconsin
Alice G. Munroe b. 1858 in Wisconsin.
This family appears again in the 1865 NYS census for Philadelphia, NY.
Jane also had a sister, Melissa Hewitt who moved to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in 1854, married Isaac Clason (in 1855) there and has a final resting place of Iowa.
At this point my search is two-fold:
#1) What was my 3rd Grgranddad's first name?
#2) Where in Wisconsin did they move to?
