Our Martin Stapleton and wife Catherine Johnson (both born in Ireland) lived in Fox Lake, Dodge Co., from 1851 until they moved to Denver in the late 1880's or so. He was a merchant in Fox Lake. Had children Theresa b. 1852 (m. ? Williams); Edward b. 1854; Louis William b. Feb 19, 1857 (m. Emily Felix 1888, Chippewa Falls); Minnie b. 1863 (m.? Leonard); Harriet b. 1865 (m. Reuben Gassman 1892); Kate b. 1869 (m.? Fordyce); Frances b. 1874 (m. R.L.Woeber), d. in Denver, CO.
Edward and Louis attended Univ. of WI in Eau Claire, became pharmacists in Chippewa Falls.
Louis later moved to Idaho and Washington.
We have Louis's history, but would like to know what happened to the other children and their descendants. Would also like to know about Martin's parentage, any siblings and their descendants. Any information most welcome.....please e-mail to gramargo@aol.com
