Hello Cora,

This may or may not help you. I grew up in Dunn County, which bordered on St. Croix County too. People in northern Dunn Co., often went to school or church in St. Croix. There is a Glenwood City (town) in St. Croix County, that is about 2 miles from the border. It has an old cemetary high up on the hill of the town. In fact, it is known as the town of 57 hills.
