Johann Karl Friedrich Finder emigrated with his family in 1867 from Neu Kluekin/Arnswalde, Brandenburg, Prussia, Germany. He was 42 at the time. His wife was Wilhemine Polensky, 35 years old. The children were Joanne Wilhelmine, 13, Karl August, 10, Karl Wilhelm, 7, Erestine Wilhelmine, 5, Karl Ludwig, 3, Ernestine Emilie, 0. I suspect during emigration, Karl Ludwig became americanized to Louis C(arl) and Johann Karl Friedrich became Carl Finder, the father.
