Sand Point/Sand Creek...please help

Is there, or was there ever, a SAND POINT in this area. My Great Great Grandmother was born in 1871 in Sand Point, Wisconsin, according to the one and only source I have.

Is Sand Point a valid name? All I can find is a Sand Creek. Thank you.
