Hello Fellow Researchers:
I am attempting to determine if a relative of mine died in Fond du Lac County between the time the 1930 census was taken, and January 1, 1932. The woman's name is Theresia Pistohl or Pistol. According to the 1930 census she was working as a servant to an elderly couple named Artie and Sarah Morgan, who lived on Union Street in the City of Ripon. She was 71 years old at the time. Information I have on surviving siblings indicates Theresia was deceased by January 1, 1932. Even if she was buried in her native Winnebago County, if she died in Fond du Lac County it would be listed in the Register of Deeds Death Registration Books. Would some active researcher out there like to give me a hand in checking the "P" names in the death registration between 1-1-1930 and 1-1-1932 and check for the death of a woman named Theresia Pistohl? A photocopy of the certificate will not be necessary, just a simple transcription which can be sent to me at swjfirephotog@aol.com Thank you very much for any help that could be offered.
