I have tried unsuccessfully to find the marriage record in Fond du Lac County for my ggg grandparents Alfred W. Gibbs and Mary Ann McElroy who were to have been married in Ripon, WI October 27, 1877. The only other bit of information which could help is that their marriage official was a Reverend Father Graves. Does anyone know of this priest and what church he may have represented in Ripon? Perhaps church records exist for this marriage even though civil records do not seem to?
