Me again. While going through the death index at the courthouse in Monroe, Green Co, WI today I came across a Gollick Ellingson who was born in Norway on December 16, 1828 and died in Jordan Twp, Green Co, WI on November 26, 1907. Also listed was his wife Christy (Ellefson) Ellingson who was born on December 23, 1831 in Norway and died on October 10, 1900 in Jordan Twp, Green Co, WI.

I was unable to locate them in the 1880 census. Could you look at the 1895 and 1900 census again and see if Gollick Ellingson is living anywhere near Ole Ellingson?

I have a feeling that the two might be brothers, but unable to make a connection at this time.

The father of Gollick Ellingson was listed as Ellin Vatern.
