Looking for descendants of the Staples family who are descendants of Peter Staple[s] of Kittery, ME.
Many came to WI in the 1800's, notably David Staples (1796-1862)who went to the Green Lake area. Others came to western WI.
I am working on a comprehensive (I hope) genealogy of Peter's descendants. Have almost 12,000 in the computer.
