I am trying to solve a mystery. In the 1880 census is an ELLEN V LONG - widow - 27y b WI-- and her daughter, EDITH MAY LONG - 6y . Also in this census is an ALLISON LONG -9y- living with an uncle William Whittemore.
He appears to be the son of Ellen V. I need to know:
What was the maiden name of Ellen V Long
Who was her husband. Census indicated he was born in Canada.
What relationship did they hvae to the Whittemores
Any infornmation on tisi family would be greatly appreciated. JAN
