hi Carmela, is not a very nice day today, rather windy, wet
and cold, the usual summer day here in ENGLAND.
Im so confused myself trying to find my FANNY HEWITT.
You would think it easy, knowing her particulars in ENGLAND, and having here immigration date and place coming to the USA, then nothing, nothing at all.
IF THE 1890 CENSUS had not been damaged beyond repair them maybe that would have been a help, but ive tried everything, everywhere, just tying to get one clue as to whee she went after arriving in NEW YORK. THE 1900 CENSUS
gives 32 hits for FANNY and i wouldnt expect to find her under the name HEWITT as im assuming that after 14 years she would have either died, or got married, and being such a large country she could have gone anywhere. its not like that here in ENGLAND. go onto the internet look up all the sites of BMDs and you are almost certain to come up with a list of names and places and dates, the only problem then is to pick out the one which is yours, but in your country its almost imposible, and i can understand why,
being such a large diverse country, what is it about 6 times larger than the UK? I think TEXAS is larger than ENGLAND, or WALES, so thats the problem, but it doesnt help me and millions of others.
how is it possible to find a death entry in a County or State when you just know which place, it could take years to check each one, and thats what ive been doing thse last
8 years, working my way through all the first name FANNY,

Thanks to bother listening to my sort of complaint, although it isnt really its just so frustrating.
any as far as you are concerned i thank you so much for all that info. EDDIE from one of the smallest counties in ENGLAND, CHESHIRE. i reckon you probably have a garden as bit as CHESHIRE.
