Hi Dawn,
I'm not related... just trying to help.
Did you get the obit that appeared in ancesty's old newspapers.. Stevens Point Journal 17 Feb 1894.

Condensed.. says Samuel died at poor farm south of town.
one daughter, Mrs Mariah Becker of Kansas.
one son, J.L. Wright of Shantytown on Plover River.
step-son J.P. Chapman of Stevens Point? (had funeral at his house.)

Remember, newspapers gave pretty poor information quite often. ( It depended on who gave them their info.)
