yes I do have a tangled mess I have 2 birth dates listed for Oliver Torjussen (aka Halvor Vettleson) Nov. 24 1860 and Jan 27 1860 and besides that all the name changes. even in Halvors (aka Howard Vettleson)death record listed his parents as Waterly Thorgasen and Marthe Martin where does this guy find these names and why the reason you may see by 1910 Halvor is not listed as raising his children is because his wife Bergit died and he moved to Washington state leaving his children behind. He did not receive any father of the year awards. yes a trail of confusion I do have. thanks
