Hi,
I'm trying to find information on the parents of my 3-G Grandmother Margaret Henderson-Locken. I believe that her parents names were James Henderson and Anne Shackelton. They were from either Ireland or Scotland.
I believe their daughter Margaret was born in New York, Agust 3, 1843, Grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, and died in Cimarron, Kansas July 5, 1927. Margaret's husband was Levi Locken and they had the following children:
Gertie Jane
Ula Anne
Archer Bernard (married Anna Beggs)
William Grant
Hubert James (married Lucy May Durant)
Sarah May Locken-Frink
Katie Lavina Locken-Shull
Margaret may have also had a brother who served in the civil war, possibly in the Wisconsin cavalry.
Please let me know if you have any information about Margaret's parents or any of her other familymambers.
