Thanks for asking me about searching the 1880 Census
Yes William I have done research in the census of 1880
for Nic and Minnie. I cannot find any thing except on the one census with all them listed in Town of Buchanan,Outagamie County,Wisconsin. I have worked on this
family for many(15) years and cannot get past Nic and Minnie living there. Would like to find out more about the whole family and also find out their parents names and if they came to the United States also. I have had 5 cousins try to find out more information on them but they also have
come to the same wall as I have. I do not know if I am
missing something that is right in front of me or what but
it has gotten pretty frustrating for me. I have a pretty
good listing on some of their childrens lines but have
a long way to go to get them all. Especially since the
children and their children seemed to have named all their
children with the same names as their siblings.
I also do not live in Wisconsin any more so doing research
at the county level gets pretty hard at times for me.
Thanks Again William for your suggestion Deeply Appreciated
your quick response to this.
