Hi Marlene, I'm not related, so coming in from "right-field" (so to speak:) I'm finding some conflicting information. There are several family trees online for Peer. But i think some of them need to be checked for accuracy. On the 1900 census the names you listed (siblings, children of Samuel and Nancy Peer) It says Samuel and Nancy have been married for 12yrs, she has had 10 pregnancies, 7 living children. There are only 6 at home and the eldest at home, Laura is 13. (Nellie is not there) On the 1910, Nancy says she has been married twice to Samuels one time. 12 preg/ 9 living Back up to 1905 state census. Daughter Nellie is at home (where was she in 1900?) age 20, Laura is 18. My own best guess is Nellie and Laura are from Nancy's 1st marriage. Are you sure Nellie married John Steines? The nellie that married John got married at about age 16. On 1905 John Stines and Nellie are in Grant Co, Hickory Grove. She is listed as age 22. Son Willie,5, and dau.Bertha 4mo. On Mabel Salisbury, married to Dewey Peer. 1930 they are in Richland Co. with son William, b. 1927. There is a Mabel Salisbury in Richland Co 1910, 1920, parents William and Rose. It's all pretty confusing. Hope you can contact the people with the online trees to compare notes. Good Luck Judy Notify Administrator about this message?
