Thank you so much. This is more than I have found. The blacksmith is right as I have been told by my uncle that he was a blacksmith. This is my Great-Great Grandfather. the daughter Mary (also have seen it Maria Jane) is my Great Grandmother. She married Bernt Olsen in about 1882-3. Both Nels Larson and Bernt Olsen/Olson are from the Biri area of Norway. My Grandmother Olive (Olava) was born in Bloomingdale in 1884. Thanks again
