I am wondering if anyone has dealt with this question before.
I finally located information on my great aunt Susan Frida Mink Weidner, having lived in Milwaukee, and died in 1966. Her husband William died 14 years earlier. They had no children. She died alone in the Milwaukee County General Hospital. The Milwaukee County welfare dept. is listed as the informant of the death certificate. They probably got the information off the hospital records. Susan owned property on N. 28th Street when she died. Does anyone know what would have been done with her property? What about her belongings? We don't have any pictures of her or her husband and am wondering what would have happened to all her personal belongings. Any information about all this would be greatly appreciated.
