I found a few clues:

FamilySearch database of the 1880 Census: Joshua SELBY, 73, & wf. Rebecka, 63, b. MD, were of Webster, Vernon Co., WI, near George WILSON, 28, OH OH OH, & wf. Mary, 29, OH OH OH, whose children were b. WI: Ots K. {sic}, 9; Eliza, 7; Oston, 5; Ira, 2; & Mina B., 1 mo.

Joshua SELBY was son of Eli SELBY & Ruth SHIPLEY, m. 23 Jan. 1794, Baltimore Co., MD. Joshua m. Rebecca STANDIFORD but had no children. Joshua was a brother of Harriet who m. 1818, Perry Co., OH, Fredk. GROVES, & Mary, who m. Jonas GROVES, all of whom moved to Vernon Co., WI.
