Omro Weekly Journal Sept. 14, 1876 p. 3 Sad Accident Last Friday evening, about six o'clock, a little three year old boy, the son of Mrs. Blanchard, on Water street, was found drowned in the fountain in the rear of Mrs. Henderson's place. It is not known how long he had been in the water, nor how he happened to fall in, but as a garden rake was found in the fountain, with the handle through a hole in the bottom of the barrel, it is supposed that he was feeling around for the hole, and when the rake handle went into it, it went down so suddenly that he pitched in. He was buried Sunday. Funeral services were held at the house. Notify Administrator about this message?
