Omro Weekly Journal Oct. 4, 1877 p. 3 Another Pioneer Gone Last Saturday morning, Mr. Ezekiel Laiten died after a long and painful illness. He was one of the oldest settlers of Omro, having come here at an early day and located his home. He has been a great sufferer for several years, the rheumatic affection which finally resulted in his death, having made life, at times, almost unendurable. The funeral services were held at his late residence Sunday afternoon, Rev. Ayers officiating and the Odd Fellows having charge of the ceremonies. There was a very full attendance, Mr. Laiten's circle of acquaintance having been very large. Notify Administrator about this message?
