DIED
In Omro, April 18th, 1878, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Edna J. Raymond after a lingering illness of nearly ten weeks. Her disease was cancer, and she was a great sufferer.
Mrs. Raymond's age was 76 years, 9 months and 2 days. She was born in Whiting Vermont, and moved to Wisconsin with her family twenty-seven years ago. During her residence in this State, she buried three sons and a son-in-law, all soldiers in the late war, and five years ago her husband, Joseph H. Raymond, was taken from her. She was a member of the Baptist church over fifty years. The funeral services were held at the house, Rev. O.W. Babcock officiating.
Our mother is gone, and we miss her.
