Omro Weekly Feb. 3, 1876 p. 3 DIED Last Sunday morning, Mrs. Thompson, mother of Mrs. C. Dunning, at Mr. Dunning' residence. Mrs. Thompson was over ninety years of age. She had witnessed the wonderful changes of the nineteenth century--was nearly as old as our nation. Fifty years ago she joined the church and has been a faithful follower of her Master ever since, looking forward with hope, to the day so long deferred, when she could be wih Him. Her sickness was of short duration. Though her great age has prevented her from going about much, yet she has enjoyed quite good health, and only within the past few weeks has she been confined to her bed. Since her sickness she has suffered much, and her failure was quite rapid; but during all, she was patient and resigned. The funeral was held last Tuesday forenoon, at the Methodist church.
