Omro Weekly Journal July 18, 1878 p. 3 Death of W.H. Gardineer. Last Friday, Mr. W.H. Gardineer died after quite a long illness. Some time ago, he had a paralytic stroke, and has been gradually sinking since that time. The funeral was on Saturday, Rev. W.W. Babcock conducting the services. Mr. Gardineer was over seventy years of age. He came to this town twelve or fifteen years ago, and bought the Stone farm near Nelson Olin's, where he has lived ever since. Some years ago one of his eyes was injured while threshing, and he had a very serious time with it. It seemed to effect his nervous system to such a degree that we believe he never fully recovered from it. He leaves a wife and several children. Notify Administrator about this message?
