Hiram Williston born 1792: Neil Williston in answering the original question has it right I believe. A cousin, Dr. Judy Williston, got confused by an allegedly professional genealogist to thinking the other Hiram mentioned was the father of Hiram Eustis. I was told in 1942 by a cousin of my father that Hiram 1792 was the son of Anson. That is the critical issue. What Neil says is all correct.
ANSON IS THE ISSUE AS HE DISAPPEARED FROM ANY PUBLIC RECORD I HAVE FOUND AFTER BEING PAID BY THE ARMY ON THE FRONTIER IN 1790. He evidently went home to father Hiram, but disappeared. It would be worth an arm and a leg to know for sure what happened to him.
