John Willman was born 1809 Rusdorf/Rossdorf, Germany, was a wagonmaker, died 1850, buried Sand Hill Cemetery, Wabash County, IL. He married 1840 to Margaret Seiler and they had seven children, six of whom died by 1850, leaving one daughter Carrie who lived to maturity, 1846-1850. John and Margaret are buried in Sand Hill Cemetery, Wabash County, IL.
John's brother Johann Michael Willman, 1810-1862, operated a wagon shop at his home on W Third Street, Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, IL,and married Julia Elizabeth Kerstein in 1832 Pittsburgh, PA. Their children included:
