Yes, Joseph Brice Wilmeth (my gg grandfather) was a Col in State Troops.I do not have those records and hope you can give me more info.His son by the same name was a Lt in 6th Texas Cavalry Co D, was killed at Corinth on Oct. 4, 1862.It was his brother William Crawford Wilmeth who resigned March 1, 1864 after being focus of a mutiny against Col. Jack Wharton.Will was never heard from again.I have been researching what happened.I have the microfilm records of the 6th Tex Cavalry. 5 of the Wilmeth brothers served in that unit.
