John WINEGARDNER (Vinyard)b.cir 1785 VA?

John WINEGARDEN(ER) b. cir 1785 in VA or GA (2 different states on sons census info) d. 1825, KY according to an small article about his wife
spouse: Lucinda/Lucy CRAFTON/CROFTON b. 1788, VA d/o Anthony Crafton.
Married: Dec 9, 1806 Lincoln Co., KY

I am unable to find data on John WINEGARDEN (ER)!! His surname is found as VINYARD soon after his marriage and at the birth of his son in 1807.

According to a newspaper article on Lucy Crafton Vinyard, John died in KY in 1825 and she emigrated to Greene Co., IL where some of her children were already living. It is these central Illinois Vinyard/Vineyards that I am researching. I would really appreciate any help on these elusive anscestors!
