My Hawkins and Wingo lines merged in California in 1953. Willie Allen Wingo (1891-1961) moved his family out there during the War and several of the daughters (including my late Mother), married in California. My Wingo line is here:

Re. the yDNA results on the Wingo project at Family Tree DNA: why isn't the paternal ancestor name filled in the second column? There is no obvious way to tell which of John Wingo's descendants are being reported of the nine or so rows below his name. What is the significance of "France" in the country column for two result sets?
Re. joining the Wingo project I don't carry its yDNA but I am interested in the results which is why I ask the questions above. I would love to see the John WIngo line joined with a matching yDNA result from an earlier line located elsewhere.
