Lisa, I don't have any information on Conrad's family other than the few children I have found. The 1870 census states he was 69- based on that it appears he was born in 1801.I have tried several spellings of Winne to find him in 1850 and 1860 and haven't had any luck.Joseph's children were born in Michigan according to the 1870 census.Francis's children were born in NY.He married a second time in 1865 in Wayne Co. MI to a Caroline Kellogg who had 2 children by a previous marriage.Stephen's children were born in NY.I saw the info about the Conrad Winne, son of Daniel and wondered if possibly someone has the wrong birth date or the 1870 census is incorrect but not finding any further information on him has been difficult to prove a birth date.I do have on order from the Family History Center some films for Wayne Co. MI and I'm hoping to get a little more info on the Winne family.Conrad's daughter Elenor married Isaac Gillette and I have most of them through 1920.Another bit of info I ran across but cannot connect to is a cemetery in Tompkins Co. NY - Newfield Village Cemetery and there is a John Gillett who had a son Daniel who had died and John's wife was a Kellogg.Right below this Gillett Monument is a Kellogg Monument. In 1850 Isaac and Elenor Gillett were in Tompkins Co. NY.The 1860 census had Elenor listed as being born in Otsego Co. NY.Did the other Winnes show up in any of these counties?
Jean
