Hi Teresa,
My cousin and I were talking more about who would have delivered your grandfathe and we now believe that it would have been our gggrandfather, Riley Wishart, He was also a farmer and would have been in his early twenties.Around the turn of the century he migrated to Muscatine, Iowa where he married Sophia Heppe. They had five daughters, Mildred, Leona(my Granny), Viola, Zella, and Verna.I knew all of them except Verna, she died around the time of WWII.Leona is my ggrandmother and I am her oldest great grandchild, and I was very close to her.Riley, was a very interesting figure. He looked like Colonel Sanders. He always wore white suits with a black string tie.Grandpa Wishart died in Muscatine and he and Grandma W. as well as my great grandparents are all buried at Greenwood cemetary there.I will ask my grandmother about Riley. He died when she was still young but I remember her talking about him and some visits to him.I hope that gives you a little base of information.
