Hi Claudio,
Here Tad, Warsaw, Poland, active and many years Polish helper on the Genforum.Poland: http://www.genforum.genealogy.com/poland/http://www.genforum.genealogy.com/poland/
Checking all genforums I've just found your query, and here is my reply:
Czeslaw Jordan Wysocki was my greatgreat-uncle. See my family Wysocki story I've just loaded to my webpage Narodowa.pl :

Here is full text, if any problem with reading my webpage:
MY FAMILY WYSOCKI HISTORY
My name is Tadeusz Wysocki. I am known to my friends as Max, Tad. I'm from Poland, European Union.
I would like to share my paternal family history titled:
"FIGHTING FOR SURVIVING THE NATION AND FAMILY ON THE PLANET"
# My father was Jan Wysocki born in 1916 in Kunow, a very old and small Polish town noted as town from the 14th century. Kunow is located in the central part of Poland close to the local towns Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski and Kielce.
My father was the only child of Jozef Wysocki from this Kunow.
As a young man Jan was also known as Marian and fought for the independence of Poland in all of WWII as a Polish partisan. He was an officer of the Polish resistance movement forces of BCH allied to AK, with the partisan nicknames of "Los" and "Step". He was wounded many times, but fortunately survived the war.
He received many military and civil distinctions, and the most coveted of Polish military, Virtuti Militari.
In 1938 he married my mother, Halina Wysocka, nee family Slotwinski, s.v. Myszkowski (Americanized as Myskowski, Myskowsky, Myskovsky, etc.) Halina was born in this Kunow in 1920.
Two children were born in Kunow which did not survive the war: Jozef Wysocki , born in 1939 and died in 1945 of wounds from an explosion from an old hand grenade which was found by children in the local woods. Six other children from Kunow were also killed. Elzbieta Wysocka, born in 1942 and died the same year at age 10 months.
After that my one sister, Barbara Wysocka (now known as Barbara Wysocka-Leguay) presently living in Paris France, was born in Karolowka, Parish Ryman, North Poland in 1946. I was born 01.01.1950 in near big town Koszalin and within a year, the family returned to Warsaw. Jan's best friend from Kunow was Marian Struzycki. My father, Jan Wysocki passed away in Warsaw several years ago.
## My grandfather was Jozef Wysocki, born in 1858 in Kunow. The first son of Jozef Wysocki was MarceliWysocki, born in 1903 from Jozef's first wife, Elzbieta nee family Kepinski. Marceli died in 1903 at 3 months of age.
Josef's wife Elzbieta died in 1914. Having no other children, Jozef as 58 years of age and a citizen of the town of Kunow married Jozefa Tomasik, age 18 from Kunow in 1915. Their one son Jan Wysocki, my father was born there in 1916. Grandfather Jozef Wysocki wished to commemorate his beloved first wife, Elzbieta n. Kepinska and dedicated a monument to her which still stands today in Kunow: (will be loaded in future).
The only brother of Jozef Wysocki was Julian Wysocki from Kunow also. Julian had two sons, Jan born in 1888 and Wladyslaw born in 1890. Wladyslaw fought for the independence of Poland just after WWI. He served under the political and military lead, Jozef Pilsudski. Wladyslaw was killed in action in 1920, the year of recovering independence by Poland.
### My great grandfather was Ignacy Wysocki, born in Kunow ca. 1829. His father was Kazimierz Wysocki from Kunow, but could have been born in Wysock, Wysocko, Wola Wysocka, etc. near Lwow/Lviv, or in the area, in old Poland under Hungary-Austria Empire, named as Galicia, and/or in Russian Empire, now located in independent Ukraine, Lviv area?
The only brother of my greatgrandfather Ignacy Wysocki was my greatgreat-uncle, Czeslaw ( Jordan ) Wysocki, born in 1839. He was a geographer and also an officer in the Polish military forces which fought against Tzar Russian Army and occupation in the Polish January Uprising 1863. After this uprising he was forced by Russian authorities to leave Poland in 1864. First by going to France, and finally settled in 1867 in Argentina (In Patagonia province according my family memories). He died there in 1883 as 44 years of age and a citizen of Argentina.
To summarize this generation; my greatgreat grandfather was Kazimierz Wysocki who hailed from Wysock/Wysocko/Wola Wysocka/..., born ca 1800, having two sons mentioned above. My great grandfather Ignacy Wysocki settled in Kunow Poland under Russia at that time, and my great great uncle, Czeslaw (Jordan) Wysocki settled in Argentina in Patagonia province.
Kazimierz and his family were forced by Tzar Russian authorities to leave their confiscated land, property and titles in Wysock/Wysocko/Wola Wysocka/... (near Lviv?) at the beginning of the 19th century because of family members taking part in theFrench and Napoleonic wars against Russia which was fought for the independence of Poland under the France and Napoleonic flag.
This genealogy search will be a work in progress.
I want to conclude this sharing of my family story: I have now in Poland three sons with my wife Maria Mioduszewska-Wysocka, a doctor of architecture which specializes in solar architecture, here is the website of her firm, which includes some family images http://www.aasolar.plhttp://www.aasolar.pl:
Maksymilian Max Wysocki, born in 1983 in Warsaw, Poland, now as a student of journalism at the Warsaw University, here is his webpage: www.goldenline.pl/max-wysocki
Dominik Wysocki, born in 1985 in Warsaw, Poland, now as a student of economics study in Warsaw.
Mikolaj Wysocki, born in 1986 in Warsaw, Poland, now as a student of architectural study in Warsaw.
I do hope all my three sons, and their families in future, will continue all our family historical values, and heritage.
With cordial greetings to all,
Tadeusz 'Max, Tad' Wysocki
