Wolters from Konigsberg Prussia
Hello,
Great to discover more Wolters'. There won't be too many who are directly related to me. My grandfather left Prussia in the 1870s and lived in the South Pacific for the rest of his days. He was born in 1853 and died in 1936. His name was Frederick Willhelm Wolters. He changed the spelling at the beginning of WW1. He had family in Konigsberg and if any of his descendents survived the terrible fate of that City during WW2 they would have been forced west before the Russian advance. My father was an only child born late in my grandfather's life. My father only had two children, my sister and myself late in his own life so the line is long and thin. My sister and I are in our fifties. Who knows one of you may be related. Konigsberg (Kalingrad) will be the common link perhaps.
