Circa 1910 photos of Lelah B. & Ulah D. Wool
I purchased two undated RPPCs (Real Photo Postcards) (not postally used) each depicting a group of 10 or 11 young women.
One is labeled on the back:
"1-Lulu Besley-Marium Downie-Eulah Wooll.
2-Fern Wooley-Dell Briggs-Lelah Wooll-Grace Albaugh.
3-Neva Briggs-Emma Rnessi-Vera Curtis."
The other is labeled on the back:
"1 row- -- -- Neva Briggs-Mable Isham-Emma Rness?
2" Lelah Wooll-Gertrude Martin-Grace Albaugh-Lulu Besley Eulah Wooll"
I found the Wooll sisters listed in the 1900 and 1910 Census data for Duplain Township, Elsie Village (resided on Ovid Street), Clinton Co., MI.Lelah B. Wooll, born Feb 1889 in MI, and Ulah D. Wooll, born Feb 1890 in MI, were daughters of a farmer turned factory assembler, Irwin A. Wooll, born Dec 1859 in OH, and Olive S. (maiden name Hicks?), born Feb 1860 in MI.I also found Eulah, still single at age 29, employed as a school teacher and living with her parents, in the 1920 Census data for Detroit (resided at 1204 ??? Street), Wayne Co., MI.
