Lisa,
I'm sorry to have missed your original message 2/3/10. I was just reviewing all my e-mails to archive when I came upon yours. Sorry for the delay.
I have heard of your Ann Vandela Wormington and will get back to you when I check her name on our Wormington Reunion descendants history narrative.
We are in the process of re-writing a history that will include all 12 pioneer suranmes that came to Lawrence County, MO in the mid 1830's to mid 1840's and hope to have submissions from our Reunion memberships and other related allied families relatives.
Meanwhile, contact me at my personal e-mail: [email protected] know of a Hewlett cousin that I have as abride married a Wormington in the early teensto mid 1920's.There are several males named with "ASA" as a middle name that becomes complicated sometimes.Edward Wormington came from Sumner County, Tennessee with his wife Nancy Hassell in the early 1840's.
Do you know about the Missour State Death Index 1910-1958? You might find her listed there if she married.I have seen the name Vandela but I can't remember if she was still a Womrington or not?
I can also put you in touch with some more Wormington family descendents at my private e-mail address.
Regards,
Jean Gaw
