When my grandparents had to hide their orgin from the white it was awful. Many of the Cherokee tribes had long ago learned how to blend in so to speak.My mother in law was half Cherokee so she was called a breed.
Quanah Parker was also a half breed.
But he was one of the greatest of the Comanche chiefs he was known as the Peacemaker and did his best to bring the white and the people togather.
We should all write to the Congressmen and demand a day set aside for Indians of The USA.
I see one Native American girl is skating in the Olympic's.
She was wonderful and from a tribe in Calif.
