The South Branch Intelligencer says Mr. W. F. French, of Hampshire county, has recently lost ten or twelve head of cattle young and old, from a disease supposed to be the "black leg."
A branch road from Green Spring Run, on the line of the B. & O. R. R., to Romney, has been determined on, and will be constructed at once.
