This information was just sent to me by Daniel Bly, and it clearly shows that ULRICH HUBER who married MARY HARBAUGH was the son of JACOB & ELIZABETH HUBER who died after 1824 in Frederick Co VA. But which JACOB & ELIZABETH HUBER are they? This still remains to be determined, at least by me. Daniel Bly believes that this is JACOB HUBER Sr of Hampshire Co VA who married ELIZABETH HOTZENBELLA/HOTSINPILLAR. However, the 1776 will of STEPHEN HOTZENBELLA/HOTSINPILLAR , Elizabeth's father, suggests that she was dead before 1776. Also ULRICH HUBER was born Dec 1790 Hampshire Co VA, meaning he would have had to have been born when ELIZABETH HOTZENBELLA HUBER was over 50 years old--not impossible, but somehow strikes me as unlikely. I suspect that ULRICH HUBER was the son of JACOB HUBER Jr b 1760s Hampshire Co VA and ELIZABETH his wife who were married in the Hebron Lutheran church in Hampshire Co VA, and the grandson of JACOB HUBER Sr & ELIZABETH HOTZENBELLA. More research to come.
