" The Hampshire Review " Wed., March 31, 1926 Emir Ely Emir Ely, a native of this county, died March 16th at the home of his sister, Mrs. D. H. Wagoner, near Utica, Ohio, after an illness of some months, aged 80 years. During the War between the states he was a member of Imboden's command. He is survived by two brothers, Ira, of Toledo, Ohio, and Frank, of Johnstown, Pa., and two sisters, Mrs. Amanda McCauley, of this state and Mrs. Wagoner. Albert Pownall, of this place, is a cousin of the deceased. - Brief Mentions - A card from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, announces the birth of a baby boy to Mr. and Mrs. James P. Shull on March 24th. It weighed 9 1/2 pounds. - Personal Notes - Mrs. J. W. Shull and grandson Earl Biddle, who spent the winter at Fort Lauderdale, Fla., returned here last Wednesday. - Spring Gap - Guy Bohrer who is employed at the Tire plant in Cumberland was home over the weekend. - Augusta - Preston Wolford moved into the vacant house of Mrs. Jennie Riley. Cecil Riley is expecting to go to Ohio soon. Mrs. Richard Oats and little daughter, Phyllis, spent last week with her mother, Mrs. Jennie Riley. Notify Administrator about this message?
