David, Thanks and I got the info. I'm wanting a copy of the documentation for this shooting.There should be a court record or something about this incident. I checked with the Logan Co WVA clerks office and they have NO record of this death on Oct.1,1919. I checked with the Census Bureau in Charleston WVA and they have a 189 death as a death by animal according to the 1925 edition of joint causes of death but this is out of the 2nd edition of the book not the 1st edition. thanks susan
