good day all, from a very nice day here in CHESHIRE ENGLAND.
ive been looking for my g/uncle THOMAS HEWITT born January 1858 in LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND son of JOSHUA and ELLEN HEWITT
for some years now without any success, and today i have
found a death date for THOMAS HEWITT, 26 June 1951 in OHIO
WEST VIRGINIA.
im finding it almost impossible to find out if this THOMAS HEWITT is in fact my THOMAS HEWITT, and the information ive received is that his date of birth and where he was
born, plus his mothers and fathers name is unknown makes it more difficult.
the only information i can give is that my THOMAS died
during an electric storm whilst baling hay for the cattle
when he was struck by lightening, and at the time he was a local town or district sheriff. I think that is him on the
1880 census, living at ROCHESTER, LORAIN, OHIO age 21 working as a farm hand.
is there anyone who know of this THOMAS HEWITT or can check the local papers for anything, or even if there are
relaltives still living in OHIO as the year was 1951, the time of death.
