Cherokee Indian Surnamed Hardman

Am looking for early WV settlers who were Hardman family Cherokee or other tribe, possibly Shawnee or Delaware. Do not believe they removed to reservation with Eastern Band Cherokee, but belonged to indigenous Indians that fled to Mountains. They are collectively known as the Eastern Woodland Indians or the Appalachian Tribe.
